COMICS? Did you know that every first Saturday of May the world celebrates Comic Book Day? On this day comic book shops, including those in Phl, are supposed to give away free comics.

FOR FUN. A comic book was purely for fun. That was when Popeye, Mickey Mouse, and Donald Duck ruled their world. They were for laughs, contributing to the making of our world a happy place to live in.

TODAY. Not anymore. Today comic books are no longer for laughs but also for making readers cry, hate, etc.
