Colon alive again

THE EAR - The Freeman

BACK TO COLON. A Cebuano businessman who left Colon Street when he observed that business activities were "seemingly dying" in the city's oldest street because of the big shopping malls being put up in the uptown area has returned to Colon after 10 years of doing business in the US. "Progressive naman sad diay ang Colon ron," he said.

STUDYING. The comebacking Cebuano businessman is still studying what business to put up although he said he already had one in mind. "Ang tanang negosyo nga akong nahunahunaan nia na man sa Colon," he said. He laughed when he read in The Freeman that a printer of fake driver's license had a shop in Colon. "Biliba ko na sa Colon ron oy," he said laughing.
