Compost soil from garbage dump

COMPOST. A garbage scavenger has discovered a source of better income than just picking up trash in a garbage dump. He earns good money by shoveling compost soil right on the trash dump which he sells to flower growers in some mountain barangays. Flower farmers have found the compost soil from the garbage dump good fertilizer.

PLASTIC. This scavenger still collects plastic bottles, plastic spoons and forks from fastfood chains but the compost soil is his main stuff. "Daghan nang nanunod nako pero ok lang. Kadako sa landfill," he said.
