MUSHROOMING ROOMS. A house owner in Barangay Punta Princesa is eyeing with growing concern a house just next door to his residence. Ever since it was bought by a new owner last year the new owner has been making rooms wherever he could to his house. The owner does not even bother to finish painting the rooms, leaving them looking raw and unfinished in plywood and GI sheets.

FIRE HAZARD. Every day the house owner can hear fighting, crying and arguing among the renters of the rooms. They also do not have a proper way to throw trash and he sometimes finds their litter in his yard. He told the Ear he is not just concerned about the squalor, they may also pose a fire hazard.
