The Old 4th Congressional District of Cebu
The Old 4th Congressional District of Cebu which existed from 1907 up to 1972 was then composed of the following municipalities: Argao, Dalaguete, Sibonga and Alcoy (which was re-established in 1916).

(Don Alejandro de Ocampo Ruiz was the last Capitan Municipal and the First President Municipal of Argao, Cebu. He resigned as President of Argao in 1903 and ran for Congress, and won on the election held on July 30, 1907.)

(Isidro and Agustin were brothers. Isidro, who was Mayor of Argao, Cebu from 1952-1953, ran for Congress when Agustin decided not to run for reelection in 1953. Isidro was a product of the Visayan Institute (now University of the Visayas) who finished his Associate in Arts Degree in the university.
