A mother-to-be's heroism

HEROIC. The wife of a former boxing champion who was nine months pregnant (that is, the wife) jumped to the water to save a drowning child. This according to a news story. It was a heroic act and the husband is proud, the news said.

But two mothers belonging to an obscure group called Mothers Health Club told an Ear informer: “Heroic act tuod kadto, pero ang kinabuhi sa inosenteng angel sa iyang sabakan nahimutang sa peligro.” The two later said: “opinyon lang ning amoa.”
