Insult to Cebuanos?

CEBUANO VOTE. Three senatorial candidates who are the common bets of the Liberal Party (LP) and the United Nationalists Alliance (UNA) did not show up in the Cebu proclamation rally of UNA and preferred to attend the LP rally in Manila. Some political observers in Cebu see this as a case of belittling the Cebuano vote.

SOME COMMENTS. Even one UNA supporter commented: “Di to maayo ang gihimo sa tulo ka senatorial candidates. Nainsultohan ang mga Sugbuanon.” Another observer said: “OK lang. Tan-awon nato ang katag inig piniliay na. Gamyan ra tingali sila sa Cebuano vote.”
