CEBU, Philippines – Mandaue City government has opened a one-stop shop for processing of business permits in three venues - the City Hall, the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex and Pacific Mall.
City spokesperson Roger Paller said these one-stop shops can guarantee a successful seven-minute processing time, assuming the applicants have the complete documents.
"This is for business renewal. Gituyo ni nga naa sa complex ug sa Pacific Mall aron sayon ra sa mga taxpayers," he said.
The one-stop shop will be open until January 20.
The city has also designated a special area outside the City Hall to accommodate those who will be coming over to renew their business permits.
City treasurer Regal Oliva advised the public to go to these areas days before the last day to avoid the crowd.
The City Hall shop accommodates bulk transactions, especially from bookkeepers who are holding several accounts. Those at the sports complex and the Pacific Mall, meanwhile, entertain single transactions.
Paller said the city organized the one-stop shop program to facilitate for a smooth business permit renewal for applicants with complete documents. (FREEMAN)
