CEBU, Philippines - A dozen small pieces and one medium pack of suspected shabu were confiscated from three persons in Barangay Looc by the Cebu Anti-illegal Drug Special Operations Task Group of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office on Wednesday.

The drug trio was identified as Paul Boroy, 33; Ferdinand Nillama, 48 and Jovelina Poto, 33. The three suspects are all residents of the barangay.

Police Senior Inspector Wilbert Parilla of LCPO Station 3 said the suspects were under surveillance for three weeks before the police carried out its operation around 4:20 in the afternoon.

Some drug paraphernalia, as well as the marked money of P200 from a police poseur buyer, were also recovered from the suspects' possession.

The suspects are now detained in the LCPO Station 3 detention cell.

The police will file a complaint against the suspects in violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (FREEMAN)
