METROPOLICE: Guards find dead man in Marigondon
CEBU, Philippines - A person was found dead Thursday evening in Barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City.
The dead body was identified as that of Arjan Ocampo, 61, a resident of Block 32, Lot 1, Gumamela Street in Bayswater Subdivision which was found lifeless on the floor.
Ocampo's body was discovered by three security guards on duty.
Based on the initial investigation of Police Officer Luisito Ernie of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office - Homicide Section, Ocampo was last seen alive the day before the incident walking outside his house.
Security guards Mark Basante, Duane Intong, Marlon Ongon who were on their daily roving routine that night found Ocampo.
The moment the guards discovered Ocampo's body, Basante immediately called the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation-ERUF and was rushed to Lapu-Lapu District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
The body of the victim was subjected to autopsy examination to determine the exact cause of death. —(FREEMAN)
