CEBU, Philippines - The Talisay City government has spent about P5 million on asphalting and road rehabilitation projects in the barangays.
City Information Officer Vince Monterde said the city and barangay roads in Tabunok, San Isidro, Dumlog and Poblacion were already asphalted based on standards, and are still in good shape.
According to Monterde, the city government has appropriated P1,345,424 for the construction of road while P3,464,973.70 budget for road rehabilitation.
Monterde said the city can expect that new cemented roads will be opened in Sitio San Miguel in Barangay Linao.
"Dugay na kaayo nga gireklamo nga gubaong dalan diha sa Lawaan I ug Lawaan II. Si Mayor JVR gigahinan na usab og budget nga P3,369,248.00 aron mahapsay na ug sayon nga kaagian sa mga motorista," Monterde said. (FREEMAN)
