Burglar breaks into Lapu home

CEBU, Philippines - An unidentified thief crashed into a house in Barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City Thursday evening.

The victim, Roberto Lazarte, 31, of Pusok Mustang, is the caretaker of the house owned by his aunt, Roselle Bargamento, presently working in Norway.

Senior Inspector Junnel Caadlawon of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office said when Lazarte arrived in the house at 6 p.m., he was immediately informed by his neighbors his house was robbed.

The burglar entered the house through the back portion and got his way into the laundry area.

The robber, police said, destroyed the steel window grills and removed the jalousies and stole an electric pump with a motor of undetermined value.

Police and members of the Scene of the Crime Operatives are now conducting follow-up investigation on the incident for the possible identification and arrest of the suspect.  (FREEMAN)
