Lapu police aim to be more visible

CEBU, Philippines - More police visibility in the different city barangays in Lapu-Lapu City is one of the goals of the acting City Police Chief Senior Superintendent Armando Radoc.

According to Radoc, crime prevention is important, but it will be happen with the deployment of uniformed policemen to those identified as crime-prone areas.

However, Radoc said barangay officials should show their support to these campaigns citing their important role to maintain peace and order.

Radoc assumed as acting city police chief recently and admitted that one way of attracting more visitors to Lapu-Lapu City is to assure their safety.

Radoc said tourism is important to Lapu-Lapu City and that there is a need for them to maintain peace and order in the city.  (FREEMAN)
