CEBU, Philippines - A 23-year-old man who was arrested Sunday by the police in Talisay City for possessing a gun has posted bail.
The group of Senior Inspector Richard Gadingan, deputy officer of the Talisay City Police Station stopped Eugene Salibay, of Sitio Rattan, Barangay Tanke, Talisay City, for driving a motorcycle without a plate number.
Salibay failed to present documents for the motorcycle.
The police also found a caliber .45 pistol in his possession.
A gun ban was in effect in the province during the Sinulog celebration.
