Guard recovers gun from boy, 11

CEBU, Philippines - An 11-year-old boy made sure the security guard was asleep before stealing his service revolver Friday dawn in barangay Tipolo, Mandaue City.
Security guard Christopher Aliermo, 31, went to the police after finding his .38 cal. gun and a bag missing upon waking up.
With the help of a CCTV, the police traced the boy’s residence and there recovered Aliermo’s gun and bag.
The boy, accompanied by his parents, was turned over by the police to the City Social Welfare Services. (FREEMAN)
