Man, 19, killed
CEBU, Philippines - A 19-year-old man was shot dead Tuesday evening by one of three men on a motorcycle in barangay Pulpogan I, Consolacion town.
Reymar Doba sustained gunshot wounds on the body and left leg. He was declared dead upon arrival at the Eversley Child Sanitarium Hospital in barangay Jagobiao, Mandaue City.
Police said the three men on the motorcycle are street gang Crips members, many of whom frequent a place in barangay Nangka.
Police said Doba and companions Michael, Brian, and Jissreill were inside a multicab which was parked along the road when suspects Danemar Navarro, Jerald Sasing, and Jay Cortez arrived on a Honda Wave motorcycle bearing plate number 4756 XX.
A team led by Sr. Insp. Franco Rudolf Oriol arrested Doba. Cortez and Sasing eluded arrest.
The police are readying charges against Doba and his two companions.
The motorcycle used in the alleged crime is already in the custody of the police. (FREEMAN)
