CEBU, Philippines - The Guardians Brotherhood Incorporated (GBI) Mandaue City Chapter and ABS- CBN Foundation will distribute Sunday repacked items in barangay Tambongon, one of the badly affected barangays in San Remegio town in northern Cebu.
Hubart "Bob" Malazarte, national founder-GBI Mandaue City Chapter said his group has already secured repacked items from ABS-CBN, which would be given to 3,000 families.
Malazarte said his group will ask the city government of Mandaue for a vehicle to transport the relief goods.
He said he has learned that barangay Tambongon was also ravaged by typhoon Yolanda.
Malazarte said they are bringing the name of Mandaue City in this humanitarian work anchored on the theme "I Care, I Share, I am Mandaue." (FREEMAN)
