CEBU, Philippines - The Municipal and City Engineers Association of the Philippines (MCEAP) Cebu Chapter will supervise the construction of schools in the northern part of Cebu that were ravaged by typhoon Yolanda.
Talisay City engineer Audie Bacasmas, vice president of MCEAP, told The Freeman that MCEAP’s president, Rodney Menchavez, will coordinate with officials of the Department of Education (DepEd) regarding the plan. Bacasmas said if DepEd already has the materials needed, MCEAP members are prepared to supervise the construction but only after the mayors give the go signal. (FREEMAN)
