CEBU, Philippines - The police arrested yesterday two men for robbing an LBC branch in barangay Tabok, Mandaue City.
Arrested by men from the Basak police station led by PInsp. Veraque were Arvin Mabuyo, 26, single, and Glenn Flores, 29, both natives of Cagayan de Oro city, and temporarily residing in barangay Buaya, Lapu-Lapu City.
SPO3 Marcos Noval Jr., an investigator of the Investigative and Detective Management Branch (IDMB), said the two men went inside the establishment pretending to be customers.
After receiving a form to fill up, Mabuyo took out a handgun from his bag and pointed this at the personnel who surrendered P4,632.
But as men hurriedly left the place, the personnel immediately called the police.
With the help of the Mobile Patrol Group, the police arrested the two men at sitio Robina in barangay Tabok.
Police recovered the stolen money, seized a loaded .357 revolver, a knife, and a motorcycle.
Mabuyo and Flores are now detained at the Basak police station. (FREEMAN)
