CEBU, Philippines - Two men were arrested Monday for stabbing and wounding a co-worker in a construction firm in barangay Tabok, Mandaue City.
Arrested by Basak police station chief P/Sr. Insp. Wilson Abot and his men were brothers Mark Anthnoy Lobida, 20, and Mario Lobida, 23, both residents of Upper Tabok, Mandaue City.
Stabbed was Eduardo Prado Jr., 27, of Cabantan Street, Cebu City.
Police said the crime stemmed from a work-related argument between the two brothers and Prado.
The argument led the younger Lobida to challenge Prado to a fistfight.
When the older Lobida saw his brother fighting Prado, he grabbed a bolo and swung but missed his mark.
The other brother produced an ice pick and struck Prado on the waist.
The police station was just a few meters away from the construction firm and the actual arrest was a breeze. (FREEMAN)
