CEBU, Philippines - Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza is still hoping the city can get a seat in the Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority Board.
The mayor said the city has concerns it wants to bring up with the board such as the unpaid real property taxes of the MCIAA amounting to P1.5 billion.
The mayor’s husband, former mayor Arturo “Boy†Radaza, had filed a bill which sought to allow the city to be represented in the MCIAA board.
“Importante gayud unta kaayo nga kita sa dakbayan sa Lapu-Lapu mahatagan og representasyon sa MCIAA board,†the mayor said.
Radaza said the city needs money to construct more classrooms. (FREEMAN)
