Trike driver shot dead

CEBU, Philippines - A 36-year-old tricycle driver was shot to death Monday morning in sitio Magay barangay Tanke, Talisay City but his assailant remains unidentified.

Mesael Amore Rollorata, resident of barangay Lagtang, Talisay sustained a gunshot wound on the back of his head and died en route to the Talisay City District Hospital.

Police said a man approached Rollorata and without saying a word shot him at close range.

Superintendent Elmer Lim, officer-in-charge of Talisay City Police Station told The Freeman yesterday that one of the motives being looked into is personal grudge.

He said the tricycle driver had differences with another person days before he was shot.  (FREEMAN)
