CEBU, Philippines - The Bureau of Customs seized the other day a pay loader and a big bike with an estimated value of P1.5 million from a Chinese ship that arrived at the Cebu International port.
Enforcement and Security Services ESS Customs Police District Commander Major Camilo Casculan Jr. said M/V Furiym 68’s Yan-Shan Bo failed to present an inward foreign manifest for the vehicles in violation of Sec. 1005 in relation to 2530 (a) & (g) of the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines.
The seized vehicles were endorsed to Cebu Customs District Collector Edward dela Cuesta for the issuance of the Warrant of Seizure and Detention (WSD). (FREEMAN)
