CEBU, Philippines - The Villar Foundation will provide work to poor residents of Consolacion town.
Former Las Piñas Congresswoman Cynthia Villar has assured Mayor Teresa “Nene†Alegado she will introduce a livelihood program through the foundation.
Mar Mendoza, Villar’s representative, said a number of residents in Las Piñas City have benefited from the foundation.
The foundation is now extending its program to the different parts of the country, especially in Cebu.
He said Consolacion town will be used as a pilot area for the implementation of a program.
Alegado said the foundation will provide the town machines use for the manufacturing of hollow blocks.
She said that it will help the residents especially those unemployed in the barangay. (FREEMAN)
