Girl, 19, jumps off motorcycle
CEBU, Philippines - A 19-year-old girl sustained bruises after jumping off a moving motorcycle being driven by a man who had just befriended her at a resto-bar in barangay Bakilid, Mandaue City Sunday dawn.
Jenny Labrador who earns a living as a production worker told police the man instead of driving her home took her to Pajara Park, which is located beneath the Marcelo Fernan Bridge.
Labrador and another woman went to a resto-bar at Insular Square in barangay Tabok to dance and have fun, PO2 Ramil Elesar said.
A few minutes later, the woman said a man befriended her and later on offered to take her home.
On the way, the motorcycle turned to Pajara instead of driving straight.
She said she jumped off because she had a feeling she was going to be raped.
A passing motorist picked her up and took her home.
Her family has lodged a complaint with the police against the man who is still at large. (FREEMAN)
