CEBU, Philippines - Consolacion Mayor Teresa Alegado said the year 2013 is a bright year for the town as she expects the realization of big projects under her administration.
Speaking before barangay captains, Mayor Alegado said the P150-million loan of the Municipal Government has been approved by the Development Bank of the Philippines.
According to Alegado, the construction of the new municipal hall building will be the top priority of her administration in 2013.
The mayor said that with the increasing number of the town’s population, there is a need for them to have a presentable municipal hall building.
“Kining atong karaan nga munisipyo gamay na kaayo sa nagka-anam kadako ang Lungsod sa Consolacion,” said Mayor Alegado.
She further said that more projects will also be implemented early next year.
The mayor said that she has the support of the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Health for the projects in the town.
The repair of the dilapidated roads in the town is also listed as top priority by Alegado’s administration next year. –BRP (FREEMAN)
