All set for NYBL Central Visayas Season 2
CEBU, Philippines — Everything is already in place for the National Youth Basketball League (NYBL) Central Visayas Season 2 set to kick off on March 2 at the Indiana Aerospace University (IAU) Center along Kagudoy Road in Lapu-Lapu City.
A total of 20 teams scattered in three age groups will be seeing action in the developmental tournament.
Competing in the 13 Under division are Bogo City, Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U), Mt. Zion. Play Town-Cebu Eastern College (CEC), RJN and TJAV.
In the 15 Under, the title contenders are the Abellana Chiefs, Accuhealth, Bogo City, CKBA, Corajudos, Mt. Zion, Play Town, and TJAV.
Slugging it out for the 17 Under crown are the Accuhealth, Bogo City, Cansaga Rose, CKBA, Play Town Exclusive, and Talisay City’s Professional Youth Fellowship Basketball Advocacy (PYFBA).
At stake is a cash prize of P20,000 per category.
NYBL aims to strengthen grassroots basketball in the region by providing young players with structured training and competitive experience to improve their skills, discipline, and sportsmanship. — EBV (FREEMAN)
