“Binukbukay sa Sugbo” fight card now complete

The lineup of fights in the highly anticipated “Binukbukay sa Sugbo” boxing card is now complete.

CEBU, Philippines — The lineup of fights in the highly anticipated “Binukbukay sa Sugbo” boxing promotion bankrolled by Dr. Winley de la Fuente of OX KBDF Gaming is now complete.

The slam-bang show featuring three WBO championship bouts is slated on February 8 at the posh Nustar Resort and Casino Convention Center.

In the main event, Korean brawler Jong Seon Kang (20-1, 11KOs) will defend his WBO Global featherweight crown against Japanese challenger Ryuto Owan (13-1, 8KOs).

Before that, the hard-punching Chinese Yeerjialahasi Laayibieke (10-2, 7KOs) from Beijing will risk his WBO Oriental super featherweight belt against Rodex “The Tank” Piala (10-1, 1KO) of ARQ Stable.

In the other title duel, former two-time WBO regional champion Genesis “Azucal” Servania (35-4, 16KOs) will trade blows with Aketelieti Yelejian (9-4-1, 2KOs) of Shenzhen, China for the vacant WBO Oriental lightweight throne.

In the equally-exciting undercards, former world minimumweight titlist Vic “Vicous” Saludar (25-6, 15KO) will trade blows with Roldan Sasan (8-6-1, 3KOs).

The rest of action-packed show pits Jason Balajadja vs Vergil Deguma, Rafie Jamero vs Yulie Hindoy, and Tristan Jay Racho vs Aubrey Silot.

Tickets are priced from P2,900 (general admission) to P5,700 (gold), P8,000 (VIP) and P11,300 (ringside). — (FREEMAN)
