CEBU, Philippines — The Gealon Racing Team of Cebu City Councilor Atty. Rey Gealon started their 2025 season on the right footing.
First off, the GRT mainstays posted an impressive 2-3 finish in the premier 42K category of the AIA Cebu Marathon 2025 last Sunday, January 12, at the SM Seaside City grounds.
Mark Kevin Revilla landed at second place in the grueling full marathon distance with a 2:49:51 clocking, while his teammate Andy Toniacao wound up third with a time of 2:58:19.
Kelvin Boyles, on the other hand, had a strong sub-four finish in three hours and 45 minutes.
The likes of Alkin Ando, Richard Celestial, Michael Vasaya, Limito Caraballe Jr., judge Hazel Caraballe, Chester Rago, Alex Cabando, and Jhonelle Tibay also hurdled the tough challenge in their respective categories.
Over in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, GRT’s Christian Miraflor emerged as champion of the Dinagsa Festival Duathlon, a two-in-one race that started with a 5K run followed by a 40K bike and then finished off with a 3K run. — (FREEMAN)
