CEBU, Philippines — The CebuEastern College (CEC) Dragons take pride in their highly successful run on the basketball court in 2024.

First off, the young and promising CEC cagers under the guidance of coaches Mark Tallo and Rodmark del Rosario clinched back-to-back championships in the 12 Under category of the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) Season 24.

After that, the Dragons bagged the first runner-up trophy in the 15 Under age group.

In the juniors level, the Easternians wound up fifth in a tough 12-team field with a 7-4 win-loss record.

A few weeks later, the Dragons capped their fruitful campaign with a double gold in the elementary division and secondary boys 3x3 competition of the Cebu City Olympics.

That earned them the right to represent the Queen City of the South in the Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) Meet next year.

For Del Rosario, it has been an incredible season that is a shining testament of their hard work, dedication, and teamwork.

“Your effort, resilience, and teamwork are something to be proud of. This season has set the foundation for even greater things ahead,” said Del Rosario. “This keeps the focus on the positives, showing pride in the team’s performance and dedication.”

“Thank you to all our players, the coaching staff, and our supporters especially the parents and teachers for making this season memorable. Let’s keep pushing for more success in the future!” Del Rosario ended. — (FREEMAN)
