Cebu FC faces One Taguig in lone PFL home game today

MANILA, Philippines — The Cebu FC Gentle Giants hope to get back into the winning track as they take on One Taguig FC in their only home game of the Philippines Football League (PFL) Season 2024-2025 today (Sunday, November 3) at the Dynamic Herb-Borromeo Sports Complex.

Game time is set at 4 p.m.

The Gentle Giants are itching to rebound from their 1-0 loss at the hands of Manila Digger last October 19 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium that dropped them from first to second place in the PFL standings with six points on 2-1 win-loss record.

“Our team is still in the process of fully integrating my football philosophy and strategies. Given that I arrived in the Philippines later and that some players joined the squad recently, it will take some time for this adaptation to be fully realized,” said Cebu FC technical director Nihat Tumkaya.

Coach Nihat noted though that the team is making significant progress each day, both in training and in matches.

“Once we fully implement our strategy, we will be stronger in both defense and attack,” he added. — (FREEMAN)
