Geralde, Narido lead winners of CCTC tourney
CEBU, Philippines — The tandem of Rommer Geralde and Jerson Narido bannered the list of winners in the most latest tournament organized by the Consolacion Cebu Tennis Club (CCTC).
Geralde and Narido bested Marvin Loayon and Michael Barral to emerge as class A champion.
On the other hand, Arniel Ceniza and Rene Navarro reigned supreme in B+ category after edging past Patrick Roa and Raphael Maturan.
In class B, Liel Luchavez and Rafael Maturan outsmarted Judgesam Tumabini and Chris Lawrence Villarin to grab the crown, while Junje Dinoy and Alden Montecillo prevailed over Juliet Nator and Corsing Benolaga to clinch the division C title.
Aside from gracing the awarding ceremony, Consolacion Mayor Teresa “Nene” P. Alegado also led the formal induction rites of the CCTC officers for 2024 still headed by Reynaldo “Dodong Rex” Pepito as president with Hector Belciña as vice president.
The rest of the CCTC officers are Wendell Bragas (secretar), Flordelize Hingoyon ((treasurer), Filamer Perez (auditor), Juliet Nator and Jonathan Gerungco (PRO), Arniel Ceniza, Prenotz Samoza and Edison Ferrarine (sergeant at arms), Al June Ceniza (safety officer), Abel Maglasang (graphic artist), Dwight Alivio and Shawn Reuyan (court adviser) and Dixon “Otik” Gillaco (court manager).
The Board of Directors include Doc Villar, Engr. Mon Seno, Arnel Edano, Ian Guillena, Roque Hingoyon, Corsing Benologa, Rene Navarro, Alan Varga, Ben Pintor, Alejandro Dinoy, and Lito Pescador. – EBV
