CEBU, Philippines — Two players of the Consolacion Sarok Weavers who are now collegiate basketball standouts took part in the  Waterfront to Waterfront Run 2024 on Sunday, February 11, starting and ending at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino in Barangay Lahug.

Matthew Flores and Paulo Dalumpines were vital cogs of the Sarok Weavers that clinched a historic back-to-back championships in the Pilipinas Super League (PSL) Under 21 Aspirants Division two years ago.

Dalumpines is an All-Star guard and team captain of the Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges (CRMC) Mustangs that made a successful debut in last year s Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) Season 23.

Flores, on the other hand, braces for his maiden tour of duty with the University of the Philippines (UP) Cebu Fighting Maroons in the CESAFI 2024 cage wars.

In hitting the road for the W2W Run as part of their conditioning regimen, Dalumpines and Flores were joined by CRMC athletic director and Mustangs team manager Marc Malazarte, who was also the big boss of the North Sports Apparel-powered Sarok Weavers during their golden PSL campaign under the guidance of coach Paul Alelu Flores.  (CEBU NEWS)
