CEBU, Philippines —  All roads lead to the IC3 Convention Center this Sunday, August 28, for the first ever American Bully dog show in Cebu billed as “Cebully Mania:Come Out and Play”.

Sanctioned by the American Bully Kennel Club (ABKC) based in Fredericksburg, Virginia, the ground-breaking event is presented by Khalvis Bullies owned by Jason Arquisola and Dexter Ty together with team member Jacques Angelvin Angel as part of their second anniversary celebration.

Arquisola, the man behind ARQ Sports that is actively involved in Cebu basketball and boxing scene, founded Khalvis Bullies in 2020. A family of dog lovers who breed American Bully, they practice selective mating with the intention of maintaining or producing specific qualities and characteristics.

American Bullies in general are commonly mistaken as bulldogs but they are of different breed lines. Nicknamed “Bully”, they are fierce looking dogs but have good temperament and ready to please attitude. They are loyal, loving and well-mannered dogs disguised in a bulky body.

Angel said the Cebully Mania is a competition show featuring the American Bully and Exotic Bully categories.

The American Bully is sanctioned by ABKC represented by top caliber international judges Ragim Simone Magh and Monsorat McField, who are both from The Netherlands.

On the other hand, the Exotic Bully will be judged by Filipino Doni Alvarez under the sanctioning body of Philippine Bully Kennel Club (PBKC).

Aside from host Cebu, the rest of the participants are coming from Manila, Bohol, Iloilo, Dipolog, Butuan, Dumaguete, Davao, and Zamboanga.

Entrance fee is pegged at P200 for adults while kids can go in for free. Also, there will be lots of raffle prizes and giveaways.

“The event has a family friendly set-up as we have prepared a playing area for kids. All of these they can enjoy for a fun-filled weekend at Cebully Mania,” assured Angel.
