CEBU, Philippines — The Yaw-Yan Summer Clinic spearheaded by Master Benigno “Ekin” Caniga, Jr. of Yaw-Yan Ardigma and Muay Thai Association of the Philippines is still accepting students for its second batch, which is now going on at the Yaw-Yan Gym located at the 4th floor of Coast Pacific Downtown Center across UC-Main along Sanciangko Street in Cebu City.
Caniga, the founder and CEO of Yaw-Yan Ardigma and longtime mixed martial arts (MMA) patron, said their month-long clinic program bears the theme “Kabataan Iwas Droga”.
In encouraging everyone to join their extensive training camp, Caniga shares various benefits of martial arts.
These include weight loss and muscle gain, cardiovascular health, flexibility, better balance, agility and reflexes, stress relief, self-confidence booster, increase in focus, memory improvement, peace and calmness of mind, building character, improving social skills, and learning self-defense among others.
More than that, Master Ekin provides an opportunity for aspiring kickboxers and MMA fighters to further sharpen their skills.
Aside from MMA and Muay Thai/kickboxing, Yaw-Yan Ardigma offers others courses such as arnis/eskrima, boxing fitness, and Yaw-Yan combat (practical self-defense). For inquiries, one may contact 0943-6568900. — EBV
