MMA showdown tonight in Balamban

CEBU, Philippines — Cebuano fight fans will be treated to another exciting mixed martial arts (MMA) and kickboxing showdown as first Cebu Fighting Championship dubbed as ‘The Wait’ unfolds tonight at the Buanoy Sports Complex in Balamban, Cebu.

Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu’s Joseph ‘Wolf’ Mercado takes centerstage in the main event as he lock horns with Edmund ‘Slasher’ Vergara of Black Panther MMA in a three-round MMA superfight under the featherweight division.

An exciting kickboxing matchup is also expected to steal the spotlight as Renan “Limbas” Noblefranca of Yaw-Yawn squares off against Tonix ‘Silent Killer’ Borres of JB Dream Fitness Gym.

In a special attraction, Mactan Combat Sports’ Nino ‘Pitbull’ Saoy and Mark ‘Noble Striker’ Balaba of Iligan Gan Suo do  will try to pin down each other under the bantamweight division.
