CEBU, Philippines — Primehomes Development Corporation is considering to invest on a township project, after establishing its name in residential and hotel developments.
PrimeHomes president and chief executive officer (CEO) Benedict Que said the company has a 20-hectare property in Carcar and plans for township development might be entertained, considering the economic boom in this southern town in Cebu.
“Carcar is the next city to contend with,” said Que in an interview.
At present, the company is still considering options of the kind of project it has to pursue with the property, but a township is the closest, he said.
This idea came immediately after the company broke ground its first residential project in Carcar last week, the Henaville Homes Carcar.
Que believes that Carcar, being a heritage City, is fast developing both in tourism and industry.
Meanwhile, PrimeHomes is also starting residential and commercial developments in Panglao island in Bohol.
The company owns a two-hectare property on the island, which has been hailed as the next Boracay.
PrimeHomes, which is the sister company of Golden Prince Hotels and Suites, entered into residential real estate development in 2008 with its 306-unit economic housing project also called Henaville in Compostela, Cebu.
