All set for NBTC League North

CEBU, Philippines — Everything is already in place for the Northern Cebu leg of the 1st Chooks To Go NBTC League presented by SM set to kick off on November 8 at the D.M. Reynes Gymnasium in Compostela, Cebu.

The five-day tilt that will culminate on November 17 has a attracted a total of 16 teams.

These are the Formative Academic & Skills Development School, La Consolacion College - Liloan, Britech College, Inc., Compostela National High School, Saint Louisse Academy, Inc., Liloan National High School Extension-Don Bosco Campus, Schildknecht School, Inc, GreenRose Centre for Academe, Inc, Rosemont Hills Montessori College, Inc., and Arcelo Memorial National High School (evening class).

Also joining in the action are Cabangahan National High School, Santa Cruz Learning Center, Liloan National High School, Carmen National High School (day), Lataban National High School, and Arcelo Memorial National High School (day class).

The contenders are divided into four groups that will play a single round robin. The top two seeds in each group will proceed to the quarterfinals wherein they will be divided again into two groups of four.

Results in the eliminations will be carried over to the quarterfinals.Teams in the same group in the quarters will play each other expect for the teams that belong in the same group during the eliminations.

The top two teams will advance to the crossover semifinals. The winners will dispute the title in a winner-take-all affair.

The champion will earn the right to represent Northern Cebu in the SM NBTC  League Regional Finals

Backed up by Compostela LGU under the flagship of mayor Froilan Quino, all games will be under the supervision of NBTC North commissioner Ruben Nelmida Patotoy, Jr.
