CEBU, Philippines — Action in the 2019 Cebu Governor's Cup Inter-Cities and Municipalities Under 21 Developmental Basketball Tournament shifts to higher gear as the showdown for district supremacy will commence today in the different venues.
At the Talisay City Sports Complex, the defending champion Talisay Aquastars will slug it out with bitter rivals Minglanilla Archangels for the 4th District title.
Up North, Tuburan will lock up horns with Balamban for the 3rd District championship at the Tuburan municipal gym.
Both games are scheduled at 7 pm.
On April 5, it will be the turn of Medellin and Tabuelan to fight for the 4th District crown at the Medellin Sports Complex.
Down South, Alegria and Dumanjug will test each other's mettle for the top honors in the 7th District at the Alegria Sports Complex.
On the other hand, the 2nd District title clash between Argao and Samboan will be played on April 6 at the Sec. Cerge Remonde Cultural and Sports Complex in Argao.
The winners are guaranteed of a P100,000 bonus, while the losers will receive P50,000.
Regardless of the outcome though, all teams are already bound for the quarterfinals set to begin next week. — EBV
