Lemuel P. Maglinte - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines — Undefeated ALA Boxing Gym stalwart Kevin Jake 'KJ' Cataraja puts on a clinical show in dismantling his Indonesian foe Frenky Rohi in the main event of 'IDOL 3' fight card the other night at the Tabuelan Astrodome.

The 23-year-old Cataraja, a rising super flyweight contender, wisely used his speed and power to destroy Rohi at the 2:44 of round three.

With fists blazing, Cataraja scored a knockdown two times early on, and then finished off his hapless Indon opponent in the third round.

Going into the fight, Pagara wants to prove that he is a force to reckon with in his weight division and also show that he is  ripe  for a regional title shot.

"I am ready for another challenge," said Cataraja. "I am just happy that I won in front of my family and fans in Tabuelan."

Cataraja improved his record to a perfect 8-0, spiked with seven stoppages, while his sixth loss in 11 fights.

In the undercards, Cataraja's stable mates in Virgel Vitor and Christian Bacolod also came out victorious.
