CEBU, Philippines - Kenyan Abraham Kilimo and Ruffa Sorongon handily won the ThreeSixty Pharmacy’s Family Run at the Cebu Business Park yesterday.
Kilimo completed the 21-kilometer run in one hour nine minutes and 23 seconds, comfortable enough to win the title over Michael Largo who finished in 1:20:40. Azlan Pagay wound up third with a 1:20:40 clocking.
In the distaff side, Sorongon reigned supreme with the time of 1:31:14. Lizane Abella placed second in 1:31:21 followed by Keisha Mae Delechos in 1:53:30.
In the 12K action, Prince Joey Lee stunned Kenyan Douglas Mwiti to snare the men’s crown. Lee touched down the finish line with the fastest time of 41 minutes and 29 seconds, enough to beat Mwiti who only clocked in 42:09. Jiboy Magbulogtong came out third in 43:35.
Geneda Arquno (55:15), Lynle Cardenas (56:28) and Rona Lacanlale (1:00:00) were the top three finishers in the women’s class.
Also, Ariel (20:51) and Jeneciel Saballa (27:21) topped the 6K competition as Ronilo Cabilan (11:23) and Riza Bausin (13:40) won the 3K fun run. (FREEMAN)
