RNM2 grabs Contractors cagefest title
CEBU, Philippines - The RNM2 upended King Properties, 84-72, in the rubbermatch of their best-of-three finals series to clinch the championship trophy of the first Contractors Basketball League the other day at the Cebu City Sports Institute in Barangay San Niclas, this city.
RNM2 proved more determined to win the title as it never looked back after a sizzling 19-7 scoring rally in the first period.
RNM2 used a well-balanced offense as five of their players registered double digits. TJ Pasculado paced the team with 16 points.
King Properties crawled within nine points at halftime, 52-61, but it was an all-RNM2 show from there onwards as King Properties couldn’t trim the lead even just to a single digit during the entire second half.
Marko Vasquez had 30 points for King Properties followed by James Cabardo with eight points.
