6th Sinulog Football Festival slated January 9
CEBU, Philippines - It’s all systems go for the sixth edition of the Sinulog Football Festival on January 9 and 10 at the San Roque field in Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
Organizers of the event had to stop accepting entries anymore as it already exceeded its total number of expected teams.
From the 10 teams per category maximum, the number of teams who beat the deadline has doubled that made the scheduling of games extra challenging for the organizers especially that they only have two days for the said event.
The first football event in Cebu this year will have 13 categories.
In the men's side, there's the premiere men's open, boys 13, 15, 18, 40-above and the inter-BPO.
In the distaff side, categories include ladies open, inter-BPO, girls 15 and 18.
Meanwhile, the mixed division will have the under-7, 9 and 11 classes. (FREEMAN)
