CEBU, Philippines - Over 200 teams all over the country and even abroad will vie for the top honors in the 8th Cebu 10's Rugby Football today at the Cebu International School.
The country's fastest growing rugby event is expected to be even better, tough and bigger as the organizers feature three categories this time, the men's and under-16 full contact and the kids touch rugby.
Led by the Cebu Dragons, the other contenders in the men's full contact are the Low Flying Dragons, Alabang Eagles, Davao Durians, Iloilo Rugby, Clark Jets, CDO Rugby, Lapu-Lapu Jets, Albay Vulcans, Duma Dogs, Paradise Hunters and the Beijing Aardvarks.
In the under-16, it’s a three-way battle between the Cebu Junior Dragons, Davao Durians and the Bacolod Rugby.
In touch rugby, the entries are host CIS, Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu, North and South District, Barangay Luz, and Mandaue City Central Special Education.— Caecent No-ot Magsumbol (FREEMAN)
