CEBU, Philippines - After a three-year hiatus, Paolo Inoc returned to racing circuit with a bang after he upstaged the multi-titled Jon-Jon Adlawan in the premiere division of the St. Therese Motocross Cup 2015 the other day in Upper Casili, Consolacion.
Inoc was simply unstoppable, finishing first in two heats for a convincing win in the expert open class. Adlawan placed second as Jubenile Abellar landed third.
The ageless Pepo Rubi also left the spectators in total awe after he outsmarted a bunch of much younger riders to snare the veterans title.
Alfonso Famador, for his part, had a double victory in the mini 50 and 65cc, while Gyle Aguilar ruled the mini 85cc.
Jun Enriquez had a 1-2 finish in the executive B and A, respectively. The executive A crown went to Ruscel Gungob.
In the local enduro, Alon Padica came out on top, while JP Cuesta lorded it over the open enduro.
Nino Surban, the country's top mountainbiker, again found the time for motocross and claimed the second honors in the beginners class won by Jerry Sicad.
Marielle Villafurte grabbed part of the limelight after dominating the ladies open battle over Kristine Hisoler and Chay-chay Lauron.
Clinton Gualiza topped the beginner's production as Don Supatan reigned supreme in the novice production. (FREEMAN)
