CEBU, Philippines – After the Cebu Marathon, Cebuano runners are challenged to go for a more daring battle via the Runnilla Eco Challenge 2015:Run for Honey on February 22 in Minglanilla.
It's going to be another 42K action, but a much harder one as the participants will have to deal with a tricky and rugged terrains.
The organizers have included the 42K division this time after seeing that the 21K last year looks too "short" for the seasoned ones. The other categories are the 3K, 8K and 21K.

Proceeds of the event will be used to purchase a bee colony for a chosen beneficiary, thus, the "run for honey".The colony will house bees that will produce honey, other than the fact that they help pollinate plants.
Should this project be successful, the beneficiaries are expected to have a good livelihood project aside from having a healthier community because of the bees.
To make this noble undertaking a success, the men behind the event are in touch with the BEES, which stands for Bees for Environment and Economic Sustainability Association, Inc. (FREEMAN)
