Busy days ahead for Cebu Blue Marlins

CEBU, Philippines – The members of the Cebu Blue Marlins Swim Club will have their hands full with five events scheduled in the first quarter of the year.

After two years of absence, CBM led by coach Rolando Alvarez will return to action in the Iloilo Dinagyang Invitational Age-Group Swim Meet in Iloilo City on January 23-24.

Alvarez will be fielding in around 30 entries mainly from his wards at the University of Cebu.

The decorated tankers of CBM are also preparing for this year's Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association  Meet and the Private Schools Athletic Association  Regional Games both scheduled next month.

CBM is also accepting the invitation from the Cebu International School to join in its invitational swim meet scheduled on Valentine's Day.

Aside from that, CBM will also take charge in organizing the 1st Mayor Michael Rama Cup Invitational Age-Group Swim Meet at the Cebu City Sports Center tentatively on February 28 to March 1. (FREEMAN)
