CEBU, Philippines - Bingo Matugas,chief of Paircargo Warehouse Assessment Division of the Bureau of Customs-Manila, drilled in 12 triples of his 42-point finish to power Einstein School for Kids Mighty Geeks to a 104-93 victory over the Vice Mayor's Office of Edgar Labella in their exhibition game last Friday night at the Capitol Parish gym.
Matugas, now assigned at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), is the undisputed three-point king in the BoC who now plays alongside with lawyer Kenneth Kern Sesante, former skipper of the University of Cebu Webmasters, in Customs-organized tournaments.
The Einstein-VM Office goodwill match aims to promote the new learning center for kids located in Lapu-Lapu City. It now has over 2,000 enrollees from nursery to grade schoolers.
