CEBU, Philippines – The Convergys 2 Blue Devils kept their undefeated run with a 108-64 massacre of the Teletech Titans to march into the conference semifinals of the 10th CSCC E-League men's basketball tournament at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.
Roderick Mangubat nailed 23 points and Clifford Amarado hit 22 markers as the Blue Devils easily romped off to their 11th straight win.
Jonas Concepcion had 19 points, while Rhey Escuadro and John Felix Cabahug cashed in 16 and 13, respectively, for the Titans, who already headed into the exit.
Convergys 2 was joined into the next round by defending champion Aegis Vipers, the Accenture Sharks, and the ePerformax Reds. Aegis whacked the Teleperformance Kings, 80-54, Accenture won by default over wildcard entry Job Target Bandits, while ePerformax terminated the Sykes Pioneers, 74-45.
Rodulfo Enterina III netted 17 points, while James Lester Navaja and Gamaliel Bas conspired for 27 points for the Vipers, who ripped the game apart using a 17-9 rally in the second period. The Vipers were never threatened after taking a 36-26 lead at halftime.
Marco Antonio Real topcored for the Kings with 14 points, while Nino Carlo Miranda and Gebbie Carl Bongo chipped in 11 points apiece.
