CEBU, Philippines - This year’s Danao City fiesta celebration will be spiced up with a running event dubbed as “Karunsa”, derived from its Karansa festival on September 14.
The race features the 1.5K, 3K, 6K, 12K, and 21K categories.
The 6K, 12K and 21K is an open division, while the 3K is exclusive to Danao residents. The 1.5K is a walkathon.
Registration fee is pegged at P700 for the half marathon, P450 for the 6K, P350 for the 3K, and P250 for the 1.5K.
Entry forms are available at Danao City Hall, Sago&Food Haus in Sabang, Danao, ML Gym in Compostela, Runnr and Planet Sports in Ayala Center-Cebu, Toby’s Sports in SM City Cebu, and Infinitea at City Time Square.
Runners may also register online through aktib.ph.
All finishers in the half marathon and the top 10 in the 3K, 6K, and 12K will receive medals. (FREEMAN)
